Computer Labs

The
center has an excellent infrastructure comprising of software
development tools and technologies for imparting technical skills to our
students. The computer wide network using structured cabling provides
Intranet as well as Internet connectivity to all.
The state-of-the-art
computing facility consists of 2 Pentium Xeon servers with Windows 2003
server, Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server and One Unix Server and 400
Pentium 4 nodes. Networking has been done with CAT-5 and CAT-6
structured cabling.
The software
includes SCO UNIX Enterprise System, Novell NetWare 4.1, Oracle 9i
RDBMS, Oracle Developer 2000 as a front end tool, Oracle Designer 2000,
Borland C++, PC-Connect, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP
Professional, Turbo Assembler, Microsoft .NET 2003, Microsoft SQL Server
2000, Visual Studio 6.0, Visual J++, Macromedia Mx Suite, Adobe creative
suite, MS-Office 2000, MS-Office 2003, Visual Prolog, GC Lisp, Borland
Turbo C++ 4.5, Norton Antivirus 2005, Norton Personal Firewall, Cyberoam
(BandWidth Management Software), Microsoft Academic Alliance etc.
